As a child of divorced parents – I know, cliche – I’ve always been an avid traveller. Travelling between my parents’ that is. I’m sure you can imagine how much of a nightmare this is for a blossoming homebody. Once I moved to Toronto on my own, all I wanted was a space of my own, where everything is left the way it was of course, is delicately curated. Here are a few of my favourite spots at home:
1. My Deliciously Curated Library of Books Dedicated to Fashion & Cities
Pictured above, many of my books were hunted down by me on Facebook Marketplace, in a dinky bookstore in Paris, museums in London, and even the recycling room located in one of my friend’s apartments. In addition to books related to fashion, I always also try to pick up a book about whichever city I’m visiting. My favourite is a photo of vintage postcards – picked up in a vintage book shop located in the corner of Covent Garden. In addition to books, I also try to pick up an issue of Vogue during my travels, since I try to travel during my birthday month! (Though — couldn’t find any physical copies of Vogue New York.. in New York..)

2. Dried Bouquets
When Eric got me my first bouquet – I wanted so bad for it to stay beautiful and be preserved. Long distance relationships are difficult, and seeing the gorgeous bouquets always puts a smile to my face. To keep the flowers – I started hanging them to dry throughout my apartment, and love the constant reminder of what they stand for.
3. Pink, White, & Gold Kitchenware

One thing I loved so much about moving into my own place, was of course – the decorating! I loved picking out dishware and kitchenware that I would feel happy in everytime I cooked and lived in the kitchen, plus who can say no to pink!

4. Lastly, Lotte!
& of course, I love coming home to Charlotte!
